Our players’ player and fans’ player of the 23/24 season, the Welsh defender signed with the club in July 2023 from Atherton Collieries and has reached over 100 appearances for the Blues.

Matthew Regan

Centre Back

Centre back signed from Ashton United during the summer of 2023. He started his career with Liverpool before moving to Nottingham Forest. The defender scored the winning goal away against Scunthorpe United in the 24/25 FA Trophy campaign.

Guy Hall

Left Back

A signing from the 25/26 season, Guy arrived from FC United of Manchester, where he made up to 130 appearances for the club. The left back found the net early in the season at home against Hednesford Town. 

Patrick Gamble

Signed in the Autumn of 2025, Patrick arrives after departing National League North side Marine. Prior to joining the step 2 side, Gamble was heavily associated with the Blackburn Rovers youth set up and links up with the likes of Adam Caddick who were from the same academy.

The 20-year-old joined the Blues in the summer of the 25/26 season and has since become a fan favourite. The midfielder previously was a product of the Blackburn Rovers academy, featuring in their U18 and U21 sides.

Making his debut in 2026 at home to Guiseley, Charlie brings a calibre of experience following a two-and-a-half-year spell with FC United of Manchester, as well as stints with Warrington Town and Southport FC. The midfielder scored a 35-yard screamer away to Ashton United in his second appearance for the Blues.

Midfielder signed from Atherton Collieries in summer of 2023. He originally signed for Colls in 2014 before joining Ashton United for a club record undisclosed transfer fee in December 2019. He won the NPL West Division Player of the Year in 2018/19. In 2025, he claimed both the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Year award.

The towering player joined the club on a permanent move from National League North side Curzon Ashton, George is a very versatile player, having the ability to play up top as a centre forward as well as in the centre of defence. George scored double figures in the 24/25 season.

The forward born in Liverpool signed after his departure from Chester in 2024, since then he has had some memorable moments for the Blues, scoring 2 against Everton U21’s as well as a 5-minute hattrick away at Morpeth Town.

The First Team manager of Warrington Rylands, former midfielder of Plymouth Argyle and Bamber Bridge before appointed manager.

Assistant Manager of the Blues, Mike has been Reynolds’ no. 2 through their six years at FC United of Manchester and spell at Bamber Bridge.

Lewis Hardcastle

First team coach and brother to Ben Hardcastle, Lewis returned to the club in 2025/26 and has played at a professional level with Port Vale and Barrow.

Gerry Akpo

Goalkeeper Coach

Gerry has made senior appearances for the Blues in the Liverpool Senior Cup whilst also serving as the club's Goalkeeper Coach.
