Charlie Ennis

Known as Charlie Ennis, Paul Ennis joined the Blues’ coaching staff in October 2026, bringing with him a wealth of playing experience and a strong understanding of the non-league game. Charlie spent seven years with FC United of Manchester, making more than 250 appearances for the club during his time there. Across those seasons, he gained valuable experience at a competitive level, developing his knowledge of the game and experiencing first-hand the demands, standards and commitment required to perform consistently. A significant part of Charlie’s time at FC United came under the guidance of Neil Reynolds, with four of his seven seasons at the club spent playing under the manager. His experience across more than 250 appearances gives him a valuable perspective on the game, from the preparation required on matchdays to the importance of teamwork, discipline and consistency throughout a season. Having spent several years competing for FC United of Manchester, Charlie understands the importance of creating a strong team environment and maintaining the standards needed to succeed. Now part of the Blues’ coaching staff, Charlie brings that experience into his new role, offering knowledge gained throughout his playing career and a familiarity with the manager’s philosophy. His appointment adds further experience to the coaching setup as the club continues its work both on and off the pitch.
