From the Pitch to the Press Box: Warrington Rylands Welcomes the Next Generation
Warrington Rylands FC welcomed junior football teams and young people from across the community for a fantastic day of football, media activities and unforgettable experiences.
While the first team trained, our junior visitors enjoyed playing on the first-team pitch, with opportunities to join the senior players for shooting drills. We were delighted to welcome Warrington Juniors FC Under 8s Wire to join in the fun.
Away from the pitch, our Junior Media Day gave youngsters the chance to explore the world of sports media. From recording podcasts and interviewing first-team players in Studio 90, to taking photos in front of our 120th anniversary flags and trying stadium announcing and commentary from the press box, there was something for everyone.
We were also pleased to welcome young people from Warrington Youth Zone, who got involved and made the most of the activities on offer.
Days like this highlight what our club is all about: bringing people together, creating opportunities and inspiring the next generation, both on and off the pitch.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.
