Gerry Akpo

Gerry Akpo is a dedicated and respected goalkeeper coach whose knowledge, experience and enthusiasm have made him an important part of the Warrington Rylands backroom staff. Drawing on his own experiences as a goalkeeper, Akpo plays a key role in developing and preparing the club’s goalkeepers, helping them perform to the highest possible standard both in training and on matchdays. As a former goalkeeper himself, Akpo brings a valuable understanding of the unique demands of the position. His ability to relate to players and communicate effectively has helped create a professional and supportive environment in which goalkeepers can continue to develop their game. A valued member of the management team, Gerry Akpo continues to play a significant role in Warrington Rylands’ ambitions, helping to develop talent, maintain high standards and contribute to the club’s continued progress on and off the pitch.
