Mike Faulkner

Mike Faulkner is an experienced and highly regarded coach whose knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail have made him an integral part of the Warrington Rylands management team. Working alongside First Team Manager Neil Reynolds, Faulkner plays a key role in player development, match preparation and the day-to-day running of the football operation. Faulkner has built a strong reputation within non-league football through his long-standing partnership with Reynolds. The pair enjoyed a successful spell together at FC United of Manchester, where they spent six years helping to develop a competitive and ambitious side while earning the respect of players, supporters and colleagues throughout the game. In September 2024, Faulkner joined Warrington Rylands as part of Reynolds’ backroom team, bringing valuable experience and a shared footballing philosophy to Gorsey Lane. His calm and methodical approach, combined with a deep understanding of the game, has helped establish the high standards and strong culture that underpin the club’s ambitions. Known for his strong rapport with players and meticulous preparation, Faulkner is heavily involved in training sessions, tactical planning and opposition analysis. His ability to support and challenge players in equal measure has made him a respected figure within the dressing room and an important influence on the squad’s continued development. As Warrington Rylands continue to pursue success on and off the pitch, Mike Faulkner remains a vital member of the management team, bringing experience, commitment and a relentless drive to help the club achieve its goals.
