Charlie Munro

Charlie Munro is a talented and hard-working midfielder whose energy, technical ability and versatility have made him an important member of the Warrington Rylands squad. Comfortable in a variety of midfield roles, Munro combines creativity and composure on the ball with the determination and work rate required to influence games at both ends of the pitch. A product of Fleetwood Town’s academy system, Munro developed through a professional football environment and gained valuable experience competing against some of the country’s most promising young players. His time within the academy structure helped shape a technically accomplished midfielder with a strong understanding of the game and a desire to continually improve. Prior to joining Warrington Rylands, Munro gained senior experience in non-league football, building a reputation as a reliable and intelligent performer capable of adapting to different tactical systems. His willingness to work for the team and his ability to contribute in possession have made him a valuable asset throughout his development. Since arriving at Rylands, Munro has continued to impress with his mature performances and commitment to the club’s ambitions. Whether operating in a deeper midfield role, linking play between defence and attack or supporting forward moves, he consistently demonstrates the quality and football intelligence that have become hallmarks of his game. Charlie contributed to the winning goal away at former club FC United of Manchester in the Play Off Semi Final of the 2025/26 season.
