Jake Burton

Jake Burton is an exciting and energetic forward who has become an important attacking presence for Warrington Rylands since joining the club in the summer of 2024. Born in Liverpool on 15 November 2001, Burton developed through the academy system at Tranmere Rovers, where he earned valuable first-team experience before embarking on the next stage of his career. During his time at Tranmere, Burton gained senior experience through loan spells with Stalybridge Celtic and Marine, showcasing his eye for goal and ability to influence matches in the final third. A move to Chester followed before he signed for Warrington Rylands, bringing with him a strong pedigree and a determination to establish himself as a regular goalscorer. Comfortable playing across the front line but most effective as a centre-forward, Burton is known for his intelligent movement and sharp finishing. His ability to find space in the penalty area and convert chances has made him a constant threat to opposition defences. Since arriving at Rylands, Burton has produced a number of memorable performances. He announced himself to supporters with a remarkable five-minute hat-trick against Morpeth Town and has continued to deliver crucial goals, including match-winning strikes in league competition and a four-goal haul in the Liverpool Senior Cup.
