Warrington Rylands fall foul to an 87th-minute winner as Chinedu Osadebe’s second goal for the visitors secures a win for bottom-of-the-league Bradford Park Avenue.
Several key players were missing from the squad due to injuries, with defender Matt Regan out for the season after sustaining an injury in last week’s game at Basford United.
Rylands began the match full of confidence, Djavan Pedro ran onto a through ball from Momodou Touray to score the first goal of the day on 17 minutes and The Blues appeared to be in control.
The lead was short-lived; just four minutes later the struggling side equalised with an Chinedu Osadebe goal and the situation became even worse when former Rylands player Edy Maieco put a second past Luke Pilling.
With only seconds to half time, Touray fed Joe Adams who quickly passed to a goal-bound Captain James Neild who slotted the ball into the net for the equaliser.
An off the ball incident in the Bradford goal mouth ended with James Butler seeing red midway through the second half. The hosts pushed with ten men for the rest of the match but were susceptible to break-aways from the travelling team and with minutes left on the clock Bradford ended their eight-match losing run with another Osadebe goal.
Warrington Rylands are back in action this Tuesday as they welcome Tranmere to The Hive Arena in the Liverpool County Cup, kick off 7:30pm.
