Warrington Rylands Announce New Deaf Football Team

Warrington Rylands FC are thrilled to announce the establishment of its inaugural Deaf Football Team. This latest initiative marks a significant milestone in Rylands In The Community’s commitment to fostering diversity and providing equal opportunities within the game.

Led by a dedicated group of individuals passionate about supporting inclusivity, Warrington Rylands DFC aims to empower the deaf community, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent, determination, and love for football. Through this venture the cloud seeks to create a more inclusive environment where everyone, regardless or ability or background, can thrive.

Commenting on the launch, Club Director, Andy Martin, expressed his enthusiasm stating, “We are immensely proud to introduce our first-ever Deaf Football Team. This endeavour embodies the core values of Rylands In The Community and what we’re all about. We believe in the power of football to bring people together and we are excited at what the future holds.”

The formation of the Deaf Football Team represents another collaborative effort between the club and other organisations as they look to work with Warrington Deaf Centre, England Deaf Football and the wider deaf community. Through ongoing partnership and support, Warrington Rylands FC are committed to providing the necessary resources, facilities and programs to ensure the success and sustainability of the team.

Training sessions are due to start in the next few weeks as Warrington Rylands DFC gear up for their inaugural season. As they embark on this exciting new chapter, the club invites fans, supporters and the wider community to support them, championing inclusivity and celebrating diversity in sport.
