Warrington Rylands FC and Rylands In The Community launch ‘Donate At The Gate’ initiative in latest collaboration with The Warrington Food Network.

Since announcing their strategic partnership with Warrington Food Network back in January the club have worked closely on a number of projects to help support The Food Network in and around the town.

The latest project of this partnership is the launch of the club’s ‘Donate At The Gate’ initiative, set to debut this coming Saturday. This initiative encourages football fans and community members attending matches to contribute non-perishable food items or monetary donations at the entrance gate. These donations will directly benefit The Warrington Food Network’s efforts in providing vital support to individuals and families in need.

The Warrington Food Network was founded in 2021 and is a partnership of local organisations working to tackle food poverty in Warrington. They are made up of local foodbanks, food pantries and clubs, social supermarkets as well as community groups, charities, faith organisations and public sector representatives. The Food Network work collectively to support local communities to able to access nutritious, affordable food, tackle food waste, and promote the delivery of dignified, person-centred services to help people and families out of food poverty.

The launch of the ‘Donate At The Gate’ initiative signifies a significant milestone in Warrington Rylands FC’s commitment to serving its community beyond the football pitch. By leveraging its platform and fan base, the club aims to raise awareness and support for those in need.

Warrington Rylands FC invites all supporters to participate in this meaningful initiative and help support and continue their work within the local community.
